Independent Living

Individualised Support is provided by a highly skilled support team.

Eligible people are provided with support for the following activities.

◾Community access,

◾daily living skills,

◾financial and budgetary skills,

◾health and physical well being

◾personal care.

An Outreach program supports people who do not access other Kyeema services, and people who live outside the city boundaries. Support is provided with transportation to attend services and activities in other centres, community access and opportunities to gain skills in many varied areas.

Outreach also provides funding for group activities, some of which are Lawn Bowls, Workskills, Kyeema “Woodbox” for woodwork, annual activities in the region such as SheepVention, The Great Chase and Party With the Ponies as well as participation in many other weekend activities.

Kyeema Spring Sale 2018

The 2018 Kyeema Spring Sale is quickly approaching with less than a month to go.

The sale will be held on Saturday the 13th of October from 10am to 2pm at 50 Lalor Street, Portland.

A wide variety of activities, products and food will be available.

The event is open to all and we hope to see you there!

Art That Plays A Part… Calico Bags $5

In a community partnership, Kyeema's Wild Ocean Workshop is now offering $5 Calico bags printed with locally themed designs.

Wild Ocean Workshop is a social enterprise that empowers artists to achieve their full potential.

We provide creative opportunities to Artists with disabilities, to build skills and create employment.
